Who we are

This website, shopnamegrove.com, is run by SALES INDUSTRIES LLC, doing business as Namegrove (“we”, “us”), 800 SE 4th Ave Ste 711, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009, USA. This policy covers this website and orders placed on it. If you order in our Etsy shop, Etsy’s privacy policy also applies to your order.

What we collect

When you order

• Your contact and shipping details: your name, email address, phone number and shipping address. You enter these on the secure Stripe Checkout page.
• Your design: the name for the sign, font, name color, size, backlight choice, theme and decor pieces.
• Payment: your card is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us whether the payment went through and the amount paid.
• Messages: anything you send us, such as replies to your design proof or questions about your order.

When you browse

• Usage information: pages you visit, the device and browser you use, roughly where you are (city or region), and how you got here (for example from Pinterest). This comes from the analytics tools listed below.
• The name you type: if you type a name into a sign preview, your browser remembers it on your own device (in local storage, under “ng:name”) so you don’t have to type it again. It stays in your browser and isn’t sent to us until you place an order. You can clear it by clearing your browser’s site data.

A note about children

This site is for parents and other adults shopping for a child. The child’s first name you type is used only to personalize the sign you order. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

How we use your information

• to make your sign, send you a design proof, and ship your order
• to take payment
• to answer your messages and fix any problem with your order
• to understand how people use the site so we can improve it, and to measure whether our ads bring visitors and orders
• to keep records we need for taxes and accounting, and to prevent fraud

Who we share it with

We share only what each partner needs to do its job:

• Stripe processes your payment.
• Our production partner in British Columbia, Canada makes and ships your sign. They receive the name for the sign, your design details and your shipping address.
• The shipping carrier receives your name and shipping address to deliver your package.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and handles our order system.
• Telegram carries a private order alert to the shop owner so we can start your order quickly. It includes your order, contact and shipping details.
• Google Analytics, the Pinterest tag and Cloudflare Web Analytics help us count visits and measure our ads (see below).

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety. If our business is ever sold or merged, customer records may move to the new owner under this policy.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Analytics and ads

We use Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages help. We use the Pinterest tag to measure whether our Pinterest ads lead to visits and orders. These tools may use cookies or similar technology and collect the usage information described above. Google and Pinterest may use it under their own privacy policies, which can include personalizing the ads you see.

Ways to limit this:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a private window.
• Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on ↗.
• Turn off ad personalization in your Google ad settings ↗ and in your Pinterest account’s privacy and data settings.
• Contact us and ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we have about you and get a copy
• correct information that’s wrong
• delete your information
• opt out of targeted advertising (see “Analytics and ads” above)

We’re happy to honor these requests for anyone, wherever you live. Contact us using the details below. We may ask you to confirm details of your order so we know the request really comes from you. Some records, such as completed orders, we must keep for taxes and accounting even after a deletion request. We won’t treat you differently for asking.

How long we keep it

We keep order records (your name, contact details, shipping address, design and payment record) for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting and handling any problem with your order. Information we no longer need is deleted.

Where your information goes

We’re based in the United States, and your sign is made in Canada. To make and ship it, your design and shipping details are sent to our production partner in British Columbia, Canada. Some of our service providers may also process information in other countries. Wherever it goes, we only share what’s needed for your order.

Keeping it safe

The site uses HTTPS encryption, payments go through Stripe, and we limit who can see order details. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If a change is important, we’ll make it clear on the site.
